News: An Assassination-related Detention
Luigi Mangione detained in Altoona during Brian Thompson investigation
A potential suspect detained in the assassination of Brian Thompson, boss of America’s top health care cartel corporation, UnitedHealthcare, is, in the words of the New York Post, “an anti-capitalist Ivy League [graduate] who liked online quotes from [Unabomber] Ted Kaczynski — and seethed in a manifesto, “These parasites had it coming.”
This information fits the assassination pattern of U.S. history—which is dominated by leftists, including anarchists—as I wrote about in my assassination report after leftist and Islamic radical attempts to assassinate President Trump and writer Salman Rushdie. The Post reports: “Tech whiz Luigi Mangione, 26, originally from Towson, Md., apparently hated the [government-controlled health care complex] because of how it treated his sick relative, sources said.”
Today’s detention by local Pennsylvania police follows a tip by a worker at a local McDonald’s, where Mangione, a former assisted living caregiver, was reportedly recognized. Mangione has not yet been charged in Thompson’s murder, the New York Post reports, and was taken into custody while eating at a McDonald’s. The former preparatory school “valedictorian was caught with a ghost gun that uses 9mm bullets, a silencer, a U.S. passport, four fake IDs with names used during the killer’s stint in New York City and [a] manifesto, sources said.”
According to the newspaper, Mangione’s manifesto consists of two and a half handwritten pages repeating quotes Mangione posted on an online account from the Unabomber, Ted Kaczynski, the anti-capitalist who mailed bombs targeting Americans for assassination and mass death before he was arrested following a tip by his brother in 1996. Mangione reportedly liked this Kaczynski quote:
Imagine a society that subjects people to conditions that make them terribly unhappy then gives them the drugs to take away their unhappiness…Science fiction It is already happening to some extent in our own society. Instead of removing the conditions that make people depressed modern society gives them antidepressant drugs. In effect antidepressants are a means of modifying an individual’s internal state in such a way as to enable him to tolerate social conditions that he would otherwise find intolerable.’’
The manifesto said the suspect acted alone, the Post’s sources claim. The newspaper cites obituaries showing Mangione lost his grandmother in 2013 and grandfather in 2017. Mangione’s LinkedIn profile suggests he once worked in an assisted living center for the elderly in 2014, while he was enrolled in high school. Mangione also subscribed to anti-capitalist and climate change activist causes, according to the Post’s sources.
At the Gilman School in Baltimore, an all-male academic institution where annual tuition is nearly $40,000, Mangione was valedictorian of the 2016 high school graduating class. According to an interview with the Baltimore Fishbowl, the video gamer played high school soccer and sought a higher educational degree in artificial intelligence, focusing on computer and cognitive sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. According to his LinkedIn profile, Mangione graduated with honors from the private, Philadelphia Ivy League institution with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE), Computer and Information Science in 2020 and he completed a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE), Computer and Information Science at the University of Pennsylvania. Mangione claims on LinkedIn to work as a data engineer at a California company, though he identifies his place of residence as Honolulu.
Police confirmed in a news conference this afternoon that Mangione was being questioned in the December 4 ,2024 ambush assassination of 50 year-old Brian Thompson, who was stalked, shot and killed outside of the mid-Manhattan New York Hilton. New York City Mayor Eric Adams delivered a press conference in which he stated that Mangione matches the description of the suspect being sought in the shooting. New York City’s Police Commissioner said Mangione was carrying a firearm and suppressor “both consistent with the weapon used in the murder.” Police detectives later discovered writing on shell casings found at the crime scene where Thompson was gunned down, police sources told ABC News.
Written on the shell casings were the words:
“Deny”
“Defend”
“Depose”
“Deny, defend, depose” comprise a phrase known to relate or pertain to the title of the book Delay, Deny, Defend: Why Insurance Companies Don't Pay Claims and What You Can Do About It, by Jay M. Feinman published in 2010, the year ObamaCare was enacted as U.S. law, nationalizing health care and health insurance. The book apparently critiques tactics by the U.S. health care cartel—incorrectly, erroneously or misleadingly called “insurance companies” in the book (ObamaCare essentially consolidates and controls all U.S. health insurers)—used to avoid paying claims, disclosing cartel strategies to delay payment, deny justified claims and defend the actions through litigation.
Luigi Mangione reportedly was born and raised in Maryland. With ties to San Francisco, his last known address is in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Scott, Excellent analysis. Thank you. Doug Mayfield
It’s unfortunate that NY State doesn’t have capital punishment. This child deserves a quick death.
