Twenty-Four Trump
Americans elect the 47th president in a historical revival of Americanism
Americans voted to elect Donald John Trump as the 47th President of the United States. Once again, the pragmatic businessman defeated a woman against predominant forecasts—against the powerful state, media and academia—in a historic upset victory over the establishment. Trump’s victory was decisive before the lights went out on election night. My sense of the country in the aftermath is relief.
