What a beautiful young woman, and what a stirring 'call to arms' for those of us who would like to live our lives free of the ever-growing tentacles of tyrannical government.
Scott, you’re so right about this lovely young woman who was murdered savagely by a subhuman piece of trash. Where is justice for her? It won’t happen because, as you point out so well, her so-called defenders are making the murderers possible. It’s beyond said; it’s pathetic and disgusting. If I were religious, I would say RIP, Brianna. But I am not religious, and I do not forgive or forget acts of this kind. I grieve for her family and all those who loved her. I hope they are somehow able to find peace through the justice system, if that’s possible. All of us need to vote out these evil “leaders” and find those who stand for something good — to stand up for the good, decent people.
Mark, this has been a passionate pursuit of mine for weeks now. I appreciate your commentary. I share your hope, too. I’d love to help the family get some degree of justice.
Why is POTUS celebrating over-paid entertainers who earn millions, given bonuses for doing their jobs, given rings and paraded in their home town? What about EMT's? What about Military Vets? Shameful.
This young woman's life should be celebrated more than those earning more than six figures.
Brianna should not be forgotten—thanks for your comment, George—and I suppose she would’ve been on her way to making a livelihood of her career, too. She certainly deserved the opportunity to pursue wealth and happiness.
I don’t begrudge anyone making any amount of money if it’s earned. What makes the cronies at the Super Bowl such frauds is their hypocrisy and warped values and ideals. of course, there are exceptions. But the government officials are despicable.
Hi Scott, thank for your honest article. It will be two years tomorrow, and the Kupfer’s have not had their day in court. I am sickened by our justice system in Los Angeles that has re-victimized their family again and again. Our DA Garçon has refused to meet with them and changed (demoted) their initial DA John McKinney out of spite, because he was gunning for his job! Can you imagine that he took it out on the family? Why is Garçon so cruel? Why does he not care about humanity? This article is validating, and I am grateful to have found it on the two year anniversary of Brianna’s murder. Thank you again.
I appreciate your comment, Leigh. You are exactly who I wrote this for. Demanding answers and justice is vital to civilization. I don’t have all the answers about this act of evil. Obviously, I hold certain government officials and pervasive ideas and attitudes accountable for Brianna‘s murder. Our district attorney in Los Angeles is like a comic book movie villain. I think it’s worse than the fact that he doesn’t care; I think he holds humanity in general (and specifically America) in contempt. I know this might seem harsh. But the worst monsters of the 20th century prove over and over that making a religion of political ideals results in murder—mass murder—and Garçon shares their philosophy.
Anger, sadness, incredulity, frustration, grief, helplessness, more sadness and finally...hope. That change is coming and a huge exposure of the people in power, perpetrating these indecent policies upon us. There will be a reckoning. For Brianna, for all of us. 💔🌹 Rest in Peace, Ms. Kupfer. 🌹💜

Thank you, Russ.
A superbly written and moving story about the life and death of a young, innocent woman. So very sad.
Randy, thank you for the compliment. I agree. I can’t stop think of this woman and the loved ones who survive her.

I was not aware of her death. Thank you for saying what profoundly needed to be said.
Thank you, Doug.
