Peikoff is the one who taught me Objectivism and philosophy from his many recorded lectures. He is an extraordinary teacher, with clarity and great humor on subjects that most people consider difficult and dry. I consider him the second greatest philosopher in history, someone who will be lionized throughout time once rationality becomes the coin of the realm.
Thank you so much for writing this! I still refer to Peikoff's "Objectivism: The Philosophy of Ayn Rand" perhaps more than any other philosophical book when it comes to reasoned thinking. And his Objective Communication book as been essential for my own work. What a wonderful tribute this is to Peikoff, Rand, and Objectivism!
Scott - thanks for helping to keep Leonard's ideas alive and available!
It is my pleasure, Jim. Thank you. Cheers to this great thinker.

He’s lighting the world by fire.
A superbly written piece rightly celebrating a life of rationality and accomplishment. Thanks Scott, keep up the great work!
Thank you, Randy. That’s a real compliment coming from you. Likewise.
