The left’s meltdown over Washington Post decision not to endorse Harris for President
As many as 200,000 Washington Post paid subscribers have unsubscribed, according to a recent report. Angry over The Washington Post’s refusal to endorse a presidential candidate this year, the activism reveals leftist psychology and philosophy. The newspaper is owned by industrialist Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon.com. Mr. Bezos bought the vaunted newspaper—which is primarily known for years of reporting about Nixon’s Watergate burglary and cover-up in the early Seventies—with fanfare. The newspaper hasn’t made much of an impact on anything major since Watergate, despite following the Guardian’s report on American whistleblower Edward Snowden’s unmasking the surveillance state during the Obama administration with its own reporting. The Post is not known for writing or reporting that affects and shapes policy in the U.S. government, let alone changing lives.
