Look next month for thoughts on war and remembrance—America was attacked on what Leonard Peikoff rightly called a Black Tuesday 20 years ago—the Flight 93 National Memorial in Western Pennsylvania and an upcoming article I wrote as a challenge to the prevailing view of godlike Roberto Clemente, whose World Series victory with the Pittsburgh Pirates stunned baseball fans 50 years ago this fall.
Autonomia will also publish my review of the short and absorbing writer’s memoir of a 100-year-old author. The writer’s name is Herman Wouk. He wrote novels and books about war, being Jewish and being an artist. Wouk’s account of his approach to writing, authoring and publishing will be September’s book review. Read this month’s book review here and last month’s book review here.
Let me know what you think. To read every article, choose one of three options:

I’m writing this preview from downtown in the capital city of Texas, a town named after Stephen Austin which I’ll be exploring in an upcoming Travelogue for paid subscribers. I look forward to your feedback on the summertime articles. As ever, think, read and live free.
